White Water Rafting
All fans of outdoor adventures and adrenaline specialists will be offered several rafting packages in Bansko. This will give you a truly exciting and memorable summer vacation. The two major rafting locations in the area are the rivers Struma and Mesta. They bracket Pirin National Park, respectively on the left and the right. If you choose the rafting trip on the Struma River, start over peaceful waters at first and heads toward the exhilarating rapids of the Kresna Canyon, providing the thrills and adventure of white water rafting, which ends up in the memorable Valley around the sunniest town in Bulgaria – Sandanski. If you prefer rafting trip on the calmer Mesta River, then you will be provided with quiet water, which will allow you to ample time to practice paddling and navigation techniques, to look at the picturesque surroundings, while heading deeper into the saddle between the Pirin and the Rhodopi mountains. The Spa Centre – Banya
Banya is situated 5 km from Bansko between the three big mountains: Pirin, Rila and Rodopi. It is famous for its mineral hot springs with high therapeutic qualities. The healing effects of the thermal springs in these mountains have been famous since antiquity. There are more than 70 hot mineral water springs in Banya with average temperature of 58º C.
